“Excellent find!”
We usually stay in the neighbourhood but this time all were full up and unavailable. Although the purpose of our visit was in the downtown area, we always choose to stay north of the city. Plenty to do: IKEA at 1 minute from hotel (Breakfast for 4 adults was $18 including deserts and taxes, dinner was $45), Vaughan Mills Mall only about 7 minutes north. Easy access in to hotel from HWY 400. Cinemas and other attractions (Wonderland, Magnotta Wines) nearby. Only drawback was pricey breakfast in hotel but you do have a choice for hot buffet or continental, and both were good but not as good and economical as at IKEA.. Very courteous staff, easy check-in with Expedia reservation. Saved by not having to pay for a roll-a-bed as requested since there were two queen sized beds and a sleep couch.
“OK for the cost”
Nice clean hotel, but difficult to access from main street. Airconditioner/heater a litlle loud but all in all a good deal.
“satisfactory”
afew more amenities could be made available, such as pasties or donuts with morning coffee or tea without having to buy the breakfast brunch.
“OK but not great”
I have tried other hotels in the area and this one didn't stand out. Great breakfast buffet but not included in the room rate. Overall, I didn't sense a lot of value for the price paid.
