"The First Colony Inn is a lovely old property in a great location for visiting the Outer Banks. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast choices were very good and the hot option varied each day. There's a wonderful beach opposite the inn and a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return."

"We’ve ventured to Ocracoke many times. The Villas were really awesome! It’s basically a 1-bedroom apartment with EVERYTHING already provided: wine glasses, beer mugs, coffee mugs, all kitchen utensils etc etc. no need to bring any silverware or anything they have it. The only thing that was inconvenient was there was very little toilet paper left on the holder and none to add to it so we had to buy our own toilet paper. The b&b is adorable, walking distance to everything, and the breakfast is homemade cooked fresh and absolutely delicious! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...
