Would definitely recommend this hotel. Prior to our stay we phoned twice, once for taxi information and once to book a table in the restaurant on our return from Chepstow Races. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We were upgraded to a king size bed room on arrival. The hotel was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was good and well presented. It's an ideal place to stay if touring round and within a stone's throw of Tintern Abbey. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel, and would definitely stay there again when we are next in the area.

Was looking for a good priced room for one night near to Swansea and that had free and easy parking. The Aberavon Beach Hotel came up on the website I was looking at and was the lowest price I had seen with free parking and was also happy to accommodate our 17 year old daughter in the same room.
Not disappointed. The family room had great sea views and the double sofa bed was already made up.
Clean, comfortable and would certainly return.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in November 2013.
I was comfortable in my room, it had a comfy armchair, bed and a good flatscreen tv.
The shower in the bathroom worked well.
I didn't use the gym, pool or sauna so can't comment on them.
The staff were excellent.
The free wifi only worked intermittently and I observed three people having to use their laptops in reception.
What I didn't like was being treated as a second class guest by the management due to a Tour Bus full of Pensioner's staying on my second and third night. How was I treated? Despite the restaurant being empty the pensioners on the tour bus were due down for food. So, I was asked to sit out by myself in a big dark empty room surrounded by glass windows. I didn't sit for long. Harry’s Carvery down the street had my business those two evenings, I rate their food highly and the price was better as well.
