“whenever we travel to San Diego we want to stay at this hotel it was amazing”
OMG it was the most incredible hotel we have every stayed at in our travels. The reception at the desk to the rooms to the restaurant service was the best we have ever received. We can not wit for our company to have its next convention in San Diego as we want to stay at The Westage again. We have told all our friends that we travel with about this hotel. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for an incredible stay.
“Loved it”
Loved every minute we were there. Only complaint is there is no shuttle or car service.
“Lovely hotel in San Diego!”
Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Well worth the money.
“This place is fabulous!”
This is a beautiful and elegant older hotel. You can easily get to it by the city bus from the airport. Bus # 992, bus stop at the rear of the hotel. It's at the south end of the Gaslamp Quarter, so a multitude of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. At the time of my stay, we found room service prices the same as restaurant prices, so had room service for breakfast. We were told wait time of 1/2 hour, but food arrived in about 10 minutes. There is an abbreviated room service menu 24/7, too. Compared to most hotels, the rooms are huge. I loved the little anteroom inbetween the hall and the actual room, made it very quiet. We had come to San Diego for a show at the Balboa Theatre. This and other theaters wer 1-3 blocks away. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
“Great service, great location, great view”

“Great hotel”
I enjoyed my stay very much.
“Packer week-end in San Diego”
Had a wonderful time at the Westgate. Wish I had taken more time to look at the beautiful antiques and to read the history of the hotel. Hotel full of Packer fans but hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay at the Westgate again. Staff was friendly and help full.
“Will definitely stay here again”
Exquisite, classy and upscale. Beautiful decor and comfortable room
