"This was my family’s first time staying at Riu Palace Riviera Maya and we LOVED it! The staff was attentive, and all very nice. The food, for an all-inclusive, was great (I know a lot of people complain about the food at these places but you can’t expect Michelin quality food out of buffets). The entire property was beautiful and loved that we could walk around the Playacar area totally safe. Highly recommend! "

"Amazing place"

"We had a great experience at Ocean Riviera Paradise. Angel and Malena were amazing. We initially had a poolside view room but Angel upgraded it to a swim up room at no cost due to it being the only ones left with a king size bed. We stayed in the privilege building and Malena was amazing at making sure our experience was great. The food was amazing and the service as well. I highly recommend this all inclusive. "

I don't normally name names but these people went above and beyond and made our stay most enjoyable - Concierge - Isis Bell Hop - Marcelo Waiters - Bryan, Armando and Javier Hostess - Liseth I highly recommend this resort and i have already booked to go back in October."

"Loved it "

"We did the privilege room upgrade at this resort. The room was great, everything in the room functioned as it should. Cold AC, great water pressure and hot water. Top shelf alcohol is included with the privilege upgrade, and the privilege restaurant food was excellent. The pools and beach were nice and there were always chairs available. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach each day, but the hotel did their best to clean it up most days. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby area to the beach, so we used their golf cart service on very hot days to go back and forth. Staff was very attentive, and we were asked daily if our room was OK, if we needed to make dinner reservations or needed help with anything. Everyone was very helpful. There is not much to do or see near the hotel. A cab ride to Playa del Carmen for shopping was over $50 round trip. Overall we had a great time. I would highly recommend the privilege room upgrade"

"Property, staff, facilities, food, and service were all excellent imo. My only gripe was calling the resort for arranging transport from the bus stop in Playa: was out through to someone else twice but never got an answer and had to figure it out in our own. Not the end of the world, just would have been nice to have someone local on our side to help. "
