“Excellent Accomodations and service-great personnel”

I was in Halifax for the Canada's Got talent auditions and although the hotel was not nearby where I have to be presented, I did not have doubts for a minute to reside at this fine place. The comfort was worth the distance from Downtown. If I go back for the competition, I will, without a doubt go back to the Futures Inn Hotel.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Halifax. The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The entire staff was the friendliest and most helpful group I have ever encountered -- from reception desk to housekeeping. The hotel is located right by several shopping malls. I would also highly recommend a local Greek restaurant, Ela.

“clean comfortable affordable hotel in/close to Halifax”

The hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly (they called me to tell me I left my lights on in the car!). The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good - freshly cooked breakfast, with good size portions. It takes ~12 mins to go to downtown Halifax by car - it was easy enough to get free parking on the weekend.

“Good hotel value”

Area recommendations

A hotel in Downtown Halifax will get you closer to all the happenings along the waterfront. Lots of restaurant choices are also close to the downtown area.

“This is the place to stay im Halifax”

A very nice hotel. The location is OK if you have a car. The rooms are quite big and clean. The breakfast they serve is a full buffet . The people at the front desk were very polite and cooperative. If I come again to Halifax, I will certainly stay again at this hotel.

“Great Place to Stay”

My wife and I stayed at the Future Inns Halifax on June 11 through June 14, 2011. It was difficult to choose a hotel in Halifax because there are so many. Based on the reviews we read and the pictures on the internet we chose Future Inns. It was the right choice. The hotel is just off the highway and easy to find. Being close to the highway you might think that noise would be a factor. Just the opposite was true. This was the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed in. It was as though there were no other quests staying there, but there were other lots of other quests there. The hotel is in a good area. Thre are restaurants near by and a Starbucks is just steps away. There is also a good restaurant onsite. You can drive to downtown Halifax in just minutes. A good tip for parking downtown......if you park at the casino and gamble a minimum of $10 you can park there all day. The Future Inns is a super clean, bright and reasonable hotel. The staff are super helpful and very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

You must visit the Boardwalk and enjoy a great meal and beverage on a patio over looking the water.

Dining

If you enjoy pubs, The Olde Triangle is a must. Best wings ever....great atmosphere.....live local entertainment and great servers.
