"Billy’s cottage was a haven. Our luggage took 3 days to arrive but the cottage and the docks were wonderful. It’s quite a walk to the centre of Dublin, we sometimes ubered which made it very easy (NB - eirecode is very important as the cottage isn’t easy to find otherwise). "Excellent location on a quiet side street in a hip, but not touristy, neighborhood with good pubs and restaurants, and only about a 20 min. walk to the city centre. The townhouse has a kind of quirky charm, unlike any other vacation rental we've stayed in. Our only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower, which could be rectified by a shower head replacement. Our host Helen was kind enough to allow us an early check-in on our arrival, which was much appreciated."
