"Gorgeous, historic property with comfortable rooms. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A daily breakfast buffet that offers something for everyone in a beautiful setting. Gardens are the best Carmel has to offer. Two features that need improvement: please offer “real” in room coffee - not instant powdered stuff!! And please provide instruction in operation of in room temperature controls - hard to use this! Thanks for a lovely stay in a sublime hotel."

"The Pine Inn was in a great location in Carmel. Easy to walk to the beach and around the cute downtown. The staff were very friendly. No elevator, so you better be able to do stairs and carry belongings up and down them. Parking was easy. Loved staying at the Pine Inn."

"The Carmel Beach Hotel is the very nicely refurbished/updated Colonial Terrace Hotel. We have stayed in the old property and now the new one. We really enjoyed our stay, the place has been very nicely updated. Outstanding location 1 block from the beautiful Carmel beach. We chose a room on San Antonio and had a small terrace with a clear ocean view. Excellent! Staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very nice (real breakfast, not a cold boiled egg and a bagel). We really enjoyed our...

"Cute little spot. Old, no frills, but clean and comfortable. Some rooms have gas fireplaces. Short, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Close to the shops and restaurants of the village. Not all rooms come with parking so check first. They are strict about 11am checkout, even when they aren't booked up."
