"We ended up needing to come to town for our nephews graduation. This location was perfect for us and was within 10 minutes of everywhere we needed to be. "My family came down to Lake Lanier with our bass boat for a week of fishing. We had a fun time catching spotted bass all week. We plugged extension cords (150’ reaches, but 200’ would give you some slack) into the gazebo to charge the trolling motor batteries every night. The driveway is narrow and steep, but we got our trailer down there to park it by the house for the week. Other than fishing, there was so much neat stuff around. The Georgia Aquarium was worth battling the traffic to Atlanta....

"Perfect Thanksgiving! The view of the lake was spectacular and the property offered some cool exploration, rocky trail to the private beach and woods with crunchy fall leaves! "The home is amazing and it was such a great place to bring a large group. As other reviews have said, it could use some updates, but we thoroughly enjoyed the place and will comeback next year! The property is not in Buford and it was listed as such. It is in Gainesville on the backside of the lake. Hopefully VRBO corrects this. The owner was great to work with."
