Dominica spring break vacation deals

Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together.

The room was superb. The pool is excellent. There is one restaurant for breakfast with a buffet, and one restaurant for dinner. It did not have everything on the menu, and I found it pricey, although the food was good. Service was very slow, although I didn't mind - I wasn't in a hurry. No beach!

I had a great time at The Champs - gracious and accommodating hosts Lise and Hans made sure all of my needs were met, including local transportation, as well as to and from the airport. I went to Dominica for the Jazz Festival, and became one of their "posse" for the main event. All of this while they continue to restore The Champs from the damage incurred from Hurricane Maria last year. Simple but delicious breakfasts and dinners. Ocean front view has literally jaw-dropping views. Snorkel or dive right from the property. Good gym, lovely pool. Close to ferry, grocers/pharmacy. Nice restaurant. Room was huge and really lovely. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Rouseau (but I wouldn't spend more than a few days in Rouseau unless you have diving and hiking excursions booked; not much to do in the town itself).

I liked the room, the location of the hotel. I liked that the owner brought us tea upon our arrival at the hotel. The facility was clean, spacious and it felt like home away from home. The owner's daughter Shauna, helped me tremendously as I unfortunately had a fall outside of the hotel and Shauna assisted me greatly with ice packs, special pain gel for my knee and also allowed me to have a lower level accommodation as it was difficult for me to manage the steps. The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!

Amazing location and view. We were very impressed with the property. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Our room ws clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there. We heard that some drop you off on the main road, and it would be quite the hike, especially with bags.

This hotel is situated between Portsmouth and Picard Beach. The beach is accessible from only a five minute walk away. The hotel itself is really clean and the Asian restaurant on the ground floor is great. Next door, the Infinity restaurant right beside the little river is an excellent place for a meal.
