(829 reviews) What a stunning hotel, we loved our stay at the Belair in Sorrento. Little touches such as email correspondence enquiring our purpose for the stay. A 30th celebration for my son and reassurance the Belair staff would do all possible to make his birthday a memorable one. All the staff we found exceptionally helpful and kind, in particular the Restaurant Female Manager personally enquired about our daily plans and voiced genuine concern for my son's foot injury which he really appreciated. A surprise chocolate birthday cake at breakfast was a nice touch and happy birthday sung by the breakfast staff too. Our rooms were spotless and cleaned twice daily. We had a beautiful terrace each with spectacular views over Sorrento Town and Vesuvius. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was to look back onto Sorrento and this did not dissapoint. We walked into town in the evenings and there is a bus stop directly outside which we used for the train/bus station and Marina Piccola. We all wholeheartedly recommend the Belair, we appreciated it's peaceful serenity and the genuine warmth and kindness of it's staff. Thank you Belair. Just wish if there was an indoor swimming pool. Also, make sure to know about their shuttle bus schedule as there were no signs on the bus and the evening driver wasn’t that tourists friendly. Your only way to Sorrento is the shuttle or local bus ( SITA bus). Otherwise, taxi is a pricy option Rooms are clean, room service is good. (494 reviews) This was a very nice hotel, we stayed for 4 nights in Amalfi. It's charming and older architecture/features - but that is how all hotels are in the area, you wont be getting a modern hotel. Very clean and good service. Hotel staff was very nice. The pool is nice and offers a great views, but water very cold likely bc of the shade, and no one spends time at the pool, I'm assuming because you are out exploring when in Amalfi. The hotel shuttle was very good feature and used multiple times a day, they have an app to schedule very easily. It takes about 10 minutes to get down to the city center where a lot of the action is. (923 reviews) This hotel exceeded expectations! The balcony area was so nice, gorgeous view. The room was very clean, very up to date. The service from the front desk was superb. They gave us directions to town and recommendations for dinner. Breakfast had many options and staff was pleasant and helpful . If you are walking and cone from town with luggage, I recommend getting bus going towards Positano, the Will stop at the hotel. Walk in to town is a beautiful walk. I am really glad we stayed out of town it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. This stay was one of the highlights to our trip!
