No matter how good the amenities or how beautiful the views, a hotel is only as good as the people who work there. In this respect, Shanti’s friendly, polite and efficient staff elevate it to among the best on the island. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cove though we did experience some frustrations hence our rating of good rather than excellent. There are four eating options in the resort and we generally found the food to be very good though we were disappointed with the breakfast buffet - the food was not to the quality that we had experienced elsewhere during our stays in Africa - no chili with omelettes, tough bacon and thick bread for toast. But we had excellent meals at the Peninsular and XO (Japanese cuisine) and I would encourage visitors to attend those restaurants rather than the main one. Service fluctuated somewhat. It was generally good, and the staff were generally friendly but from time to time you could find yourself waiting for extended periods to order drinks or food, whilst staff chatted at the bar; or encounter a staff member who wasn't in their best mood. The resort has a number of included activities; and we found the included drinks under the all-inclusive option to be high quality. The room was fantastic; the music, different every night, was really good; and the overall design of the property with multiple options (restaurants, pools, sunbed areas, etc) was superb.

I had a wonderful vacation in the Resort, and my overall experience was excellent. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Mauritius. I would like to give a special thank you to the housekeeping supervisor for his outstanding service. Late at night, around 12:00 a.m., when some food was accidentally spilled on the deck, he personally came to assist. He brought a mop and cleaned the area himself with great care and professionalism. This level of dedication, especially at such a late hour, truly reflects the high standards and genuine hospitality of the resort staff. Moments like this made my stay even more special. I truly appreciate the kindness and responsiveness of the team, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable vacation in Mauritius.

Breakfast menu offered a large varied choice to suit lots of tastes and requirements. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was good, beach clean quiet and secluded from public access. Rooms were large with all good working order facilities, modern and comfortable. Pool large and clean offering beach and sea view. 3 on site restaurants offer buffet, a la carte or bar meals.

Very bad experience. Check in was very slow. There were cockroaches roaming around at the reception area.
