Mediterranean Coast Waterpark Vacations

Food ok and most staff ok. Main problem we had was the bed surrounding light switch would not turn the lights off so we had to sleep with the light on all night. Reported this to receptionist and a guy followed me up to investigate. He said maintenance would fix this. Reported this again throughout the day and a no show. We went to bed yet again with the light on and the telephone rang just as we were dropping of to sleep after 12. Did not answer as we didn’t want anyone trying to fix this whilst we were trying to sleep. Reported this YET again at 7 in the morning to the guy on reception saying we have had two nights trying to sleep with the lights on. I pointed to a guy in the background who had come up with me to the room 2 days ago. The receptionist thought this was really funny with a large smirk on his face, I said it’s not funny at all! Within 10 minutes an engineer came up and went and sourced a new switch and fitted this. Not very pleased how the reception handled all this.

Fantastic food, really top notch and an amazing choice in the main buffet restaurant. Very helpful staff. Well maintained pools and tennis courts. Decafe coffee not really a thing except thankfully in the cafe which is very welcome. We had a good time while attending a conference. Be aware of the challenges of using taxis. Ask reception for advice. Cash machine at entrance of property.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet our expectations, and I would not rate it more than 3 stars. The internet and Wi-Fi were absolutely terrible throughout our stay, which made it very difficult to stay connected. Communication was also a challenge, as most of the staff either did not speak English or spoke very limited English. The à la carte restaurants were nothing special, and there is essentially one main buffet for most meals. Another major issue was the beach. You have to wake up around 6:00 AM and go to the beach just to secure a beach chair and umbrella. Even then, many of the chairs and umbrellas are in poor condition, with some being broken. Overall, there are several areas where the hotel could improve significantly, especially the Wi-Fi, communication, beach facilities, and dining options. That said, I would like to give a special thank you to Hussein for his friendliness and warm welcome. He was genuinely kind and made us feel welcomed during our stay.

The hotel had everything you might need. The food was great and different options. I loved the kids options including for babies. The main swimming pools were quite cold in October, but the kids one was heated and the temperature of the sea was perfect. Loved the hotel and the kids too!
