Amazing experience, wonderful staff very helpful, great views, great families and also for couples. How do you recommend recommended

We were spoiled by all the staff at Cleopatra Sidi Hneish during our stay. The general manager was very attentive to our needs and was extremely generous and he set the tone for his entire team. The resort is very modern on a small hill with many pools. The rooms are very large and comfortable with great views on the beach and pools. Large variety of food and the fruits are a special hit.

The beach and water are absolutely beautiful and are by far the best part of this resort. I also appreciated being allowed a late checkout until 3 PM. Unfortunately, those were the only positives. In my experience, this is not a luxury hotel and was absolutely not worth the approximately $1,100/night I paid. The hotel and rooms feel old, dated, and run-down. My room smelled stuffy, the bed and mattress were uncomfortable, some outlets did not work with larger European plugs, and the safe was locked upon arrival, very old and difficult to use. Housekeeping was also not provided daily. Service was disappointing. It often felt like cash tips were expected whenever you asked for something. I requested an iron and received an old, damaged one with a makeshift soleplate attached with wires. Beach service was slow and inefficient; I was simply given a staff member’s mobile number to call when I wanted to order. At checkout, I was asked to wait while they checked the room to make sure I had not taken anything, which I found strange, uncomfortable, and disrespectful. I also met other international guests who said they paid a fraction of my rate. This property, for me, should not be more than $300/night, not $1,100/night.
