I regret choosing this property, after being there for a couple hours we noticed there were couple of ants in the bathroom. No big deal. Then after a little longer we noticed them everywhere, in the bedroom, (a couple on the bed). The problem was really in the kitchen area really bad. So bad, when I pulled my laptop out of my bad, it was coupe of them on my laptop. I decided to speak with the property manager on site to share my concern. He said I was just sugar ants and they were harmless. I expressed that I wasn’t afraid on the ants, I didn’t come on vacation to fight ants and more importantly to have them in my things and take them back home with me. Later that afternoon I found place to stay for the remainder of my trip and this is where things got worse. I book the Expedia which I’m never doing again after 15+ years. Expedia said the property manager had to cancel the booking, the property manager said Expedia has to cancel it and I had to go back and forth. Finally I was approved for a refund of 2 nights. My booking was for 5 nights. We stayed there one night. They enforced a 24 hours cancellation policy as if I changed my mind or plans for my trip. I left because of the conditions. In addition she lied and I said the I left food out that caused the ants. In all honesty the location is great but should you have a problem, you will not get good customer service or the truth when trying to rectify your issues. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE!

It was just minutes from the Tropics of Cancer beach. I will recommend renting an SUV, the road to the villa is actually quite bumpy. The house was very clean and charming. It truly was a place where we could just relax.
