9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,001 reviews)
The property is in a wonderful location with beautiful views. Our time at the spa was very enjoyable and relaxing, and the staff there were wonderful. The first morning of our stay a dog started barking at 5:15 in the morning. It woke us up as well as at least six other rooms full of guests because we all converged out in the hallway after a half hour of the dog barking. A couple of us called the front desk to let them know about it, and they had indicated at that time they would reach out to the guest in that room. The dog continued to bark for over an hour, and we called the front desk again Only to be told that guests had broken the rules and left their dog unattended in the room while they went on a hot air balloon ride. The hotel stated they could not go in the room to quiet the dog or to remove the dog so the rest of us just had to live with it. In speaking with the assistant front manager, Deanna we got no apology or no taking responsibility for the problem just simply telling us over and over that they are a dog friendly property. We found out during that discussion they do not have assigned rooms for dog rooms so it’s very possible the room that you are assigned may have had dogs in it for the day before. They supposedly deep clean the room after a dog leaves, but with bedding and carpeting I would think that would be nearly impossible to get all the dander and hair out. It’s very frustrating to go on a relaxing spa vacation only to have a barking dog problem.

"I thought this property was very good. I would rate it excellent if the bed was more firm. I had a backache after sleeping on the bed. If that is not an obstacle for you then I would say you will enjoy the location and boutique style atmosphere. The veiws from the property are magnificent."
