Lake Lucerne Pet-friendly Vacations

A great hotel, we would definitely love to stay here again. The balcony views are stunning.

37°C outside, 37°C in the room. On arrival, the clerc said the hotel was full, which was untrue. Then we came down to complaint about the lack of ventilation and air-conditioned, we got a first answer that all room on the city side were without AC, which was untrue. She just apologized. We ask a technician to check the device, no-one came. Then on departure, the Front Office Manager said only 8 rooms out of 250 in total had no AC. Why our 2 rooms paid $650 per night paid 2 month in advance and not refundable??? We received a lot of marketing spam from the hotel before arrival, but no warning about the lack of AC. This is really a shame for a 5 stars hotel. We could have received an update proposal, for instance. Otherwise, the staff was nice. And facilities nicely located on the see shore.

The staff were super nice. Get a lake view room. Great view and water access for swims in Lake Lucerne (with a cold beer nearby). Missed not having AC a bit but I expect that is common here.

Great hotel for one or two nights. The rooms are modern spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool needs updating however the sundeck and sunbeds were perfect. There are very few restaurants within walking distance but it’s only 15 minutes on the train into luzern.

Great location near the old town and in front of the water. The best part is that you can swim in the lake in front of the hotel. The hotel looks great but it feels to me some of the server lack training and perhaps the chain is getting bigger as it doesn’t feel special anymore. In other high end hotels the check in is special, here it feels like any other check in.
