Southeast Florida Pet-friendly Vacations

The Westin is comfortable and clean. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a glass of champagne ( better would be if it was a real glass and not plastic) and delicious chocolate chip cookies! The staff are very helpful and capable. The parking is outside. It's is plentiful and easy to use. The 2 downsides are- you are advised ar check in that your room will not be refreshed every day. You must request it, no problem. It was difficult to contact the hotel directly to advise of a late arrival.

Amazing stay, I loved every single employee. Got us checked in 2 hours before our initial time since our flight landed early in the morning had help and very accommodating. Also being 20 years old and being able to check in myself without requiring a 21+ year old present. 5/5 recommended to everyone that chooses to stay in Miami. Beautiful outdoor pool that’s also not overly crowded especially during a 3 day weekend holiday with a connecting beach in the back.

Every day of our stay, we were uncomfortable because of the many problems and missing amenities at the hotel. The room had a humidity problem and cockroaches. The refrigerator did not work, and there were no alcoholic beverages, water, or soft drinks available. The TV did not work, and neither did the telephone. There was no restaurant available after 4:00 PM, and there was nothing available to purchase for snacks or refreshments. The spa was also closed. On top of all these issues, the hotel charged us several additional fees. Considering the amount we paid, this experience was extremely disappointing and far below what we expected from a hotel of this standard. We believe these issues should be addressed and that some form of compensation or refund is appropriate.
