I never had the opportunity to stay at The Jefferson Hotel before, and I’m so glad I finally did. The hotel exudes refinement without feeling stuffy, and it’s easy to see why The Jefferson is a beloved institution in the city. Food and Breakfast:** The breakfast was superb, with a distinct Southern Virginia touch that felt comforting and refined at the same time. I enjoyed Virginia ham for breakfast, and it truly took me to heaven—rich, savory, and perfectly prepared. The menu felt both fresh and thoughtfully curated.
