The only reason I booked this hotel was because it had a pool. If you have children, you know that’s a major factor when choosing a hotel.
When we arrived at the pool, we were told there was an additional $45 fee, which was pretty appalling. I didn’t mind paying for it, but I absolutely expected the pool to be well-maintained. Unfortunately, it was anything but.
The jacuzzi smelled strongly of mold and had visible algae buildup. My son’s white bathing suit even ended up stained green from the water. 😬
I gave feedback on our way out to someone at the gym front desk, but she was simply handing out receipts and didn’t even acknowledge my concerns at all. I also mentioned it to the front desk during checkout, and they apologized verbally.
I am pretty well traveled person and this was a very disappointing experience considering I am pretty easy going.
We will not be returning.
