Long Caye Honeymoon Vacations

We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Dee has a small bar next door and a small shop where you can get some basics. Dee was so friendly. A Howler Monkey troop came right onto the property one of the days and they were fun to watch. Another Howler Monkey troop spends most of its time across the street at Lloyd’s. Lloyd was happy to allow us on his property to check them out. The accommodations were great. There was a washer and dryer on site that worked well. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be back!

The staff, location, food was all amazing. Very cozy place. The tacos are amazing here! And so many places nearby to walk to. But overall the staff is what made my stay amazing. I will be coming back!

Great place to have as our base for our vacation. Perfect spot in a quiet yet still close enough to town, Truck stop and Secret Beach. Felt like home away from home. Only minor feedback is that it was hard to find as there’s no signage on the main road. We would definitely come back again.

Staff (Larry, Elvin, David, et al.) were incredibly friendly, food was amazing, the property was beautiful and entertaining on its own, with the plants and wildlife. We had a wonderful stay.

Staff was responsive and helpful. The beds are comfortable and I was able to get amazing sleep. The restaurant menu was delicious, specially breakfast. Beautiful property overall we will definitely book here again.

I can't say enough about the Sea Glass Inn and the Maloney's. We were met at arrival by Tom, one of the owners. He has alot of knowledge about pretty much everything you might want to do in Placencia. From places to eat to excursions you might want to take. They set up transportation for us from the local airport, a car rental fo r our road trip, and even scheduled our excursions! They truly go above and beyond at the Sea Glass. The hotel itself is newly remodeled, clean and beautiful, with a lot of personal touches. To top it off, if you're a dog lover, this is your place. Piper, Rigatoni and Alfredo are perfect additions to the laid back Placencia vibe.

The Rooms need a little upgrading. Better curtains that can close properly. One bathroom floor is too deep to step down for senior citizens Walking up the Receptionist could also use a handrail for senior citizens and other wide steps also need Handrails

This was billed as an all inclusive resort, however it was not a true all inclusive. It included 3 meals each day but only breakfast had a choice. Lunch and dinner were served whatever the resort decided. Most dishes were very salty. No drinks were included. Not even bottled water. Luckily the tap water was safe to drink.

If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.
