I stayed at this hotel for my last night in Costa Rica before a very early morning flight. The room was spacious and clean, and the check-in process was easy. Unfortunately, it was raining during my stay, so I wasn’t able to use the pools. It’s also worth noting that the fitness center has limited weekend hours, despite being listed as 24/7 in some places online, so I wasn’t able to use it either, which was a little disappointing. My biggest concern, however, was a significant security issue that disrupted my stay. Because I had an early morning flight, I went to bed early. At 11:13 PM, I was woken up by a call from the front desk telling me to lock my hotel room door because they had accidentally given another guest a key to my room. Before I had even gotten off the phone, another guest actually opened the door to my room. Having another guest unexpectedly enter my room was incredibly invasive and concerning. It was also particularly disruptive given that I had gone to bed early specifically because I needed to be up in just a few hours for my flight. While I appreciate that the front desk notified me once they realized the mistake, giving another guest access to an occupied room is a serious security issue and significantly affected my experience at the hotel.

We drove up to iron gates, got buzzed in and the place was beautiful. Our check in was quick and fast. Our room was amazing. The staff was top notch. Anything you needed the helped. The front desk staff helped with directions and directing us where the best food was. He was very patient. I will go back again. Highly recommend!!
