If you want to escape this is perfect spot. It is relaxed, unpretentious, friendly and a lovely setting. Evening entertainment will be a puzzle or a swing in your hammock rather than a cabaret.

Beautiful location. Very helpful staff and excellent twice daily yoga sessions. If you’re coming here to have an active break it’s probably not the place as there are very limited options. Kayaking & SUP available and one bush trail up the hill. Food was excellent ! Not really the place for a solo traveller. Rooms not cleaned particularly well. Thick dust on top of air con unit and dead bugs around every day in room which came through the rafters. Didn’t bother me but probably would for other guests Very expensive transfers to get to the Island. All in all, perfect for 2 nights but 5 was too many.

Ample spacing with good view and good facility. The shampoo etc can be improved. Room/bed is not super clean but okay.

We found the resort crammed with family and if the rest of them weren’t honeymooners, well, you could have fooled me. I’m not necessarily a resort sort but our stay was stunning. Curlews and wallabies everywhere. Thoroughly recommend you go to the Reef View Hotel. A paradise for all kids including children of a larger growth like me.

We had the best time at the resort. Our kids absolutely loved the water park and wished we could stay at the resort for two more weeks. It was very handy to have a little cafe at the resort which provided our morning coffees and lunches by the pool. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with all the essential kitchenware. We can't wait to come back again!

We loved our stay at the Pinnacles. The views from the apartment were stunning, it was very comfortable and spacious, which allowed us to combine work with a holiday. The infinity pool was exceptional. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments. Fabulous 4 night trip to Hayman. Just the most beautiful scenery and grounds and a very friendly staff. We enjoyed the excursions snorkeling and seeing Whitehaven Beach. We initially had a lagoon room which we didn’t love so we upgraded to a second floor room overlooking the pool. They were very accommodating. Used the gym and ate at all the restaurants. We also enjoyed the great acoustic guitar player each night.
