My room was amazing and the staff made this an exceptional experience. Downside is parking which was in a separate garage and you needed 20 minutes to get your car. Would absolutely stay there again despite the parking.

Great small boutique hotel with plenty of friendly staff. The room was gorgeous and huge with a bathtub view on the Douro. A little bit of road noise but nothing earplugs don’t fix. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Adding a full size mirror would be good for checking a fit before leaving the room. Service was above and beyond, with a tour of the property, welcome drink, bags taken to the room and a turndown service. Ines at breakfast was very friendly. The breakfast is good although the concept of a tasting menu for breakfast is a little odd and ordering à la carte would be better in our opinion. This is the second Torel property we stayed in and will continue to seek it as a gauge of quality in Portugal.

I am very satisfied with this accommodation. The location is very convenient. Check in on 7/24. The staff is very friendly. I will choose this place next time.

Amazing hotel with lovely staff and brilliant location, breakfast was lovely and spa and (tiny) pool really nice. Room was amazing.

Excellent staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful especially the front desk. Super clean! The breakfast was included and runs from 7-11am weekdays and 730am-1130am on weekends. There's also a rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the river.
