Good location and very friendly staff, but unfortunately that’s about where the positives end. The hotel is extremely outdated, with stained carpet and furniture, an old bathroom, a tub that didn’t drain properly, strange smells throughout, and sketchy elevators. We actually looked into options to leave shortly after getting into our room, even though it was late at night. The staff were nice and did waive an unexpected additional resort fee after we questioned it, but we felt very misled by the listing and photos. It seems the property may be going through a transition/potential purchase, so hopefully improvements are coming. At the end of the day, if you simply need a place to rest your head in a good location, this will do. But for anything beyond that, I would look elsewhere. We would not stay here again.

Folks in the room next to us were loud and smoking weed in their room. Hotel staff did not remove them from the premises, despite having a no smoking policy.

In NYC for just one night. Amazing stay! Couldn't be more pleased!
