The men’s change room had no hot water in the shower and there was a painting crew in there during regular hours. The painters were also going in and out of the ladies change room at their leisure which was incredibly uncomfortable. We have not stayed at a Riu before and not sure we will again. The excursion people are not as bad as the people trying to sell items and or massages. Those people bugged the life out of you and make you not even want to go to the beach the Riu in Montego Bay. Jamaica controls their sellers by keeping them in the water. They are not allowed on the same part of the beach, maybe implicate that because it is harder for them to bug the people on vacation from the water versus walking all on the sand everywhere again I think the people on the beach offering excursions is a huge plus also helps out small local companies and the local economy, but being asked 50 times a day to buy a bracelet, whistle, Massage is a little crazy loved the overall cleanliness and friendliness of all staff.
