5.0 out of 10, (2 reviews)

"Fourway Hotel was a great place to stay in Dörtyol and convenient for visiting the wider Hatay region. The hotel is in good shape, the rooms were comfortable, AC worked well and there was free parking available in an open (unfinished, gravel, bumpy) lot behind the hotel. Breakfast was also very good here and the hotel had a number of amenities, though I didn't take advantage of them first hand. Would recommend."

"I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Luckily I took a picture of the confirmation, because when we got to the hotel, they said I only paid for 1 room and wanted to charge me more money. With the picture I took, I had my proof. It was a hassle. The rooms were very dirty. The bedding had hair on it and the bathrooms were moldy. The electricity also kept shutting off. The door key cards didn't always work. I would not recommend this hotel. "

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Yumurtalik?
The best area to stay in Yumurtalik is the central coastal strip, particularly around the main harbour and the historic Yumurtalik Castle.

This area is the heart of the town, offering a pleasant blend of local life and visitor amenities. You'll find yourself just steps away from the Mediterranean Sea, with easy access to the main beach. The waterfront promenade, lined with local eateries and shops, stretches along the coast, providing a lovely setting for an evening stroll. The ancient Yumurtalik Castle, a prominent landmark, stands proudly by the harbour, adding a touch of history to the surroundings.

Couples looking for a relaxing seaside break will find this area particularly appealing. The proximity to the beach means romantic walks are always an option, and the selection of seafood restaurants offers delightful dining experiences with sea views. The general relaxed pace of life here is great for unwinding together.

Families will also appreciate the convenience and facilities of the central area. The main beach is easily kid-friendly, and the calm waters are ideal for swimming and paddling.
When is the best time to go to Yumurtalik?
The best time to visit Yumurtalik is typically from late spring to early autumn, specifically May through October, when the weather is warm and sunny.

May and June offer pleasant temperatures, usually in the mid-20s Celsius, making it ideal for exploring the town and its surroundings without the intense heat of mid-summer. The sea is warm enough for swimming, and the natural areas are lush and green. This period is superb for couples looking for a relaxed getaway before the peak tourist season.

July and August are the warmest months, with temperatures often reaching the low to mid-30s Celsius. This is peak beach season, with the sea at its warmest and most inviting. Families often find these months ideal for a holiday focused on swimming and enjoying the coastal activities. The town is more bustling, with plenty of options for dining and evening strolls along the promenade.

September and October still offer lovely warm weather, with temperatures gradually cooling into the mid-20s. The crowds thin out, making it a more peaceful time to visit while still enjoying warm sea temperatures.
