Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. »

« This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more. »

« Perfect trip! Location was excellent with lake just across the roadway from the house. Perfect views. House is very comfortable and clean. « This property was amazing , from the hot tub to the Mountain View. I would recommend this to anyone one going to Donner Lake. It is close to West Beach and a 10 minute beautiful drive around the lake to the State park entrance. The most impressive thing about this is the host. 10/10 in communication and accommodation. « This property was great, our family was very happy with the house. The West End Beach is only 2 min drive from the house and a fabulous place to hang out for the day on Donner Lake with bathrooms and picnic tables and a playground for the kids. There is a very small beach across the street but it is very rocky and was hard for the little kids. There is a fishing dock right across the street and it was a fun place for the kids to catch crawdads. Over all our family gives this house a 5 star...

« I really enjoyed my cozy stay. I enjoyed some wonderful peace and quiet which is exactly what I needed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had everything I needed. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the trees are amazing. Also, their labradoodle and kitty are awesome. »
