"This was definitely a no-frills stay, but overall, I was pleased. PROS: comfortable bed and pillows, window, air-conditioning and heating unit that worked, shower was hot, TV user-friendly, located in between a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Burger King. CONS: no elevator, no extras (things like blankets, hairdryer, iron), towels were very thin, mini-fridge did not work (I didn’t need it, so I didn’t complain), bathroom run-down/stained."

"Stayed here for two different days on a there and back road trip to Chicago. Clean rooms. Nice room layout. "Award-winning breakfast" is a stretch. Don't get your hopes up. And, while it's not the hotel's fault, the surrounding roadways are a nightmare. There are some potholes that could destroy your car if you're not careful. Assume this is due to the dead/dying mall next door. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, just be careful driving."

"Probably the worst hotels that i can remember staying in more than a decade, and i travel quite a bit. Extremely dirty... room, bathroom, common areas. Smelt pretty bad too. Very badly maintained. Bed's were uncomfortable and not flat (significant sagging from overuse). I was not expecting much as i was looking for a one night stay near the highway i was passing, but this was horrible! Rooms and comon areas are outdated but that's not the biggest issue. Check in/out was quick. The staff was courteous. Breakfast was basic but ok. Real problem was the cleanliness of the room and maintenance - This place is a dump, stay away."

"Beautiful is an understatement. Peaceful solitude & all the privacy one could ask for. Hottub was wonderful, the little deck connecting to it comes right off the bedroom so it’s perfect. They have twinkle lights draping the trees as you come up the drive all the way around the back of the house where the deck/tub/fire pit is & it’s such a simple yet enchanting touch. I loved it here so much. & if I’m being honest I slept so good (too good in fact) that I about had a heart attack when I woke up just 15 minutes before check out disheveled but refreshed, reset & grateful for my night in this oasis.I couldn’t give one single recommendation or suggestion in regards to the property but to anyone reading this I’d say; its all it’s advertised to be & then some.. just make the reservation"
