There’s a handy grocery store, cafes, and restaurants in walking distance. We love the quiet side of Acadia and Sharon’s home is perfect for our family of 3! Clean and well appointed, walking distance to the cove, restaurants, grocery & the beloved five and dime! Owner provided lots of info about the area and was quick to respond to questions. Laundry onsite was great and kitchen had all we needed. We hope to stay again soon! ##### Cynthia L. It was very clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies, and anything else you could need. The location was Great! We loved being able to see the water from the house and beingso close to Scoodic. We had dinner at the Treehouse on the corner, it was Fantastic! Breakfast at JMGerrish was delicious and if you are Starbucks snob like me the espresso at Downeaster is on point! The only thing I would suggest is a sign at the bottom of the stairwell warning that the ceiling at the top of the stairs is extremely low! Our stay in Winter Harbor was all we had hoped. The host was a pleasure to work with. The people in Winter Harbor were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed being on the quieter side of Acadia. House was centrally located and easy in and out. Clean and neat. A/C was super quiet, bathrooms were clean and modern. Built in 1860 so stairs were a little steep for 60’s couples.
