"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"Using the shower over the bath the water was not draining even thiugh the pug was open, i had to pull it right out for the bath to empty and then i realised it was because it was blocked with thick hairs so had not had a proper clean in a while. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay, comfortable and welcoming. It had all you needed including a washing machine and dishwasher. This makes life easier especially when you are on holiday."

"Nice property on the edge of Keswick, good views and quite location but the driveway from hell far too steep for most cars and any frail person would never make it up the drive, just as well there is room to park outside the gate on the grvael road. "The hotel is situated high above Keswick, so even though it's about a 15 minute walk into town, be mindful that it's a steep climb back again! The breakfasts are wonderful and well organised, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. There's a lovely terrace outside, so if you have good weather, it's a welcome space to just sit and enjoy the view. If I came back to Keswick, I'd definitely be booking to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Food is good, book a table as it is busy. Rooms were clean and spacious but feel they missed a trick with our room. Small corridor to the bathroom but no hooks to put coats on etc.. Would definitely stay again... "
