« Ce fut un très beau séjour dans ce magnifique chalet. Très propre et les lits sont très confortable s. Par contre, pour aller visiter plusieurs endroits de la région, nous avons trouvé le trajet en voiture un peu long pour rejoindre la route principale surtout lorsque nous revenions en soirée! »

« Isolate and quiet with an access to the lake. Beautiful sunset and place the take a cup of wine.All the furnitures is pretty new. Expect provisions, groceries store , dinner and other isn't close. Enjoy the BBQ, and for kids the wifi network is excellent. »

« Beautiful property on the lakeside, but it’s about more than just the quality of the accommodation. The hosts have considered every possible comfort and thoughtfully provided it, a fire pit, chairs, canoe and kayak, great WiFi etc. We had a wonderful 3 day stay, and would love to come back sometime soon. »

« We stayed there for four nights. Rob and Janet were super gracious and very accommodating. The unit was amazing. The views were spectacular and the pictures did not do that justice. We got to see two bald eagles, sore and perch a top trees within our sight line of the deck and a really cute fox. The animal kind. The only regret was that we couldn’t stay there longer. »

« Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. « Beautiful, very peaceful and well equipped property. Kayaking on the lake was fantastic, as was spending time BBQ’ing and relaxing on the deck. « Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving. »

« This is a great house, with tons of space. Ample indoor dining and living space was augmented by a pleasant yard. Easy to find, within walking distance of a grocery and coffee stand, across from the famed Red Shoe, this was also a good homebase for visits to west coast beaches (and sunsets) the national park and other island attractions. Host is kind and friendly, as were the neighbors. All in all - a wonderful experience. I hope we can return some day. »

« The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. And at night the whole family enjoyed looking at the stars including shooting stars. »
