"Stayed here with my boyfriend and dog for a long weekend. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We enjoyed the views and loved the walking paths. Convenient location for a weekend of hiking. Our fur baby loved it as well and love how dog friendly they are."
Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa

"We liked the renovated lobby area & the updates around the tavern area. Rooms are nicely maintained. I recommend checking ALL sink drains. Mine was clogged but cleared it. Food was very good overall. Really loved the ambience of the wine cellar. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard. We' in the food hospitality & I wasn't too impressed on the quality of the buffet. You should also put signage about NOT taking food out of the chafers with your hands. I caught some pig (I'm being polite here) actually take bacon & sausage out with his hands instead of using the tongs that were there."

"Room is very clean and comfortable. Accommodate check-in time if room is available. Close to major attractions (eg, clark's bear, lost river gorge & boulder caves, Whale's Tale Waterpark, many hiking trails) in the area. Breakfast is excellent, especially love the waffle, homefries and scrambled eggs are also good, I like the oatmeal as well. Plenty of parking places, general Level 2 EV charging equipment is available by the front entrance. There is a high-speed Supercharger station nearby as well."

"We had a great time. The food was excellent and the service, impeccable. The room was very nice and there were lots of amenities: paddle boats, tennis courts, ping pong table, walking/hiking trails, a hot tub and a genuinely heated pool (unlike many other hotels where "heated" has a symbolic meaning). The location is also great because it's minutes away from Lincoln and Woodstock, where you'll find a lot of little stores, restaurants, diners, etc."

"I give it a four star for a few reasons. 1. No Veteran/Military discounts. 2. Room service one bed was made the other not. 3. Total price for second stay was higher than told. I would go back but only through an app that sets the price lower. Friendly and helpful staff though."
