"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"A truly excellent and charming location. A charming, independent garden outside with a fire pit, table, and chairs. The interior is even more magnificent, well-maintained, and above all, equipped with everything you need... meticulously crafted. The table that converts to a bed was a simple but brilliant idea, the bathroom is enormous for a cabin, and the stove is truly wonderful. "Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
