"No check-in details given, had to contact Hoseasons twice on the afternoon of arrival to get details, to say the cabin is quieky is an understatement, if you like dark & dinghy then thats ok, the kitchen is basic and smells of old fat, beds & mattress have seen better days, if you don't mind paying over the odds to sleep in a damp portacabin look no further, if we could off afford it, we would not of stayed, but as this was not a holiday we didn't have much say,but did cut our stay short."

"The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10."

"Pier view is a lovely little house with everything that you will need in a home from home. The views from the property are amazing and Mesmerising. There is plenty to see and do in the area too with walks and botanical gardens close by and not to far away from supermarkets and shops if needed. "Clean and tidy room which was heated to a comfortable temperature. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is the extortionate cost to park my car in the car park of the hotel I have paid to stay at. £18 is unbelievably expensive when we were only there from 6pm to 11:45am the following day. This will definitely influence my decision about where I stay next time I am up visiting relatives in the area"

"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again."

"Unfortunately there was a problem with their kitchen and consequently no hot food was available. The “English Breakfast” was also cold and in fact a Continental Breakfast would have been a better description. That said, the room rate was extremely reasonable and the staff were excellent - providing both recommendations for dinner on the evening of arrival and then at breakfast, providing an itinerary of recommended stops for our journey up to Fort William."
