Not far from Charlottesville (University of Virginia). A couple of hours from Washington. 1 mile walking path around the property. Cons: Active train track crosses the driveway- source of noise a couple of times per day. Mixed: Highway nearby. Provides easy travel, but also near constant source of traffic noise. I was in the area for the funeral of my brother, and also took some time for quiet reflection, soul searching, along with a little hiking. Stayed 4 days. It is very close to downtown Waynesboro, and Staunton and Charlottesville are a short drive away. As the title states this place is really cozy, and there's a big back yard for the dogs to run around. The beds are huge and comfortable, and it has all the amenities that you need. I live in Durham NC and love coming to this area - Michael is a great host, and I plan on coming back to this place on my next visit. ##### Keith P. Loved the fenced in areas for her. The open living area was great to have as well as the bedroom on the first floor (a necessity for one of our family members) Lovely second floor bathroom, though was connecting master bedroom with the bedroom with twin beds. A very clean and stocked kitchen with utensils, pots/pans ,coffee maker, towels etc.. Really enjoyed walking the loop around the farm. Close to town but feeling far away..loved it! Our group was traveling to the area for a wedding and wanted a relaxing place to stay for the weekend. This house was exactly what we were looking for! Clean, convenient, and VERY relaxing!
