The drive from the Richmond airport was super easy until about the last two twisty miles; if you are arriving after dark, study the map so you know what to expect. « We couldn’t have be more pleased with our stay at Blue Ridge Beau. The cottage seemed new and beautifully decorated, and was amazingly well appointed. We had fun trying out the fire pit and learning to use the pour over coffee system. « VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund. »

« Very cute cottage that sits on a farm. You can watch the goats and sheep while sipping coffee on the front porch. The cottage is modern with a nice bed, big modern bathroom, and a mini kitchenette with table, keurig, mini fridge, and microwave. The room is not very big though so it would be best for solo travelers or couples. The place is an easy 8 minute drive from Staunton shops and restaurants. I’d definitely stay again for the ambiance, nature, and charm. »

« Ashley was fantastic. House was exactly what we needed. One thing you may want to advertise is that there a nice pickleball courts just a 5 minute walk away along with a coffee shop. Such convenience but still in a beautiful mountain setting. I wish we had brought our racquets. »
