« This place is truly something special! We loved falling asleep the gentle lull of the waves in the harbor. The boat and harbor house were well maintained and had a charming, nostalgic vibe. « The cabin was what we expected: clean, charming decorations, kitchen had supplies for cooking and cleaning: dishes, utensils, soap, salt & pepper, coffee, drinking water and water for washing. Also had plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates. The outhouse wasn’t that bad. Nice, secluded fire pit area with grates, roasting sticks and a tripod for outdoor cooking. Lawn chairs in the shed (outhouse.) Right off the highway but feels like you’re in the woods. »

« This was a beautifully private little property. The accommodations were simple but sufficient. The bathroom is tiny but had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is spacious and comfortable. The bed was soft and the mounted fan in the corner was an added bonus. « Our family of six had plenty of room to enjoy one another's company and spread out too. I loved sitting out on the upstairs deck in the morning. The view of the bay right across the street was beautiful. The kitchen worked great for fixing some of our meals. We enjoyed having a park across the street. The town is also nice for taking walls and we walked down to the lighthouse which was a 3.5 mile roundtrip hike. We really enjoyed our stay! »

« Everything was great, good price. The only thing I didn't like is that the lake was just for looking at, It's very shallow and I took a stick to test what kind of bottom it was and right off the dock it went down about 3 feet of muck. If you don't plan on going in the water it's a GREAT place. »
