« Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

« We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. « Luccombe Cottage ist einfach traumhaft - wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage. Es war alles blitzsauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Allein der Blick aus dem Fenster jeden Morgen ist die Reise wert. Auch die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten, Wanderungen im Exmoor vorbei am wilden Ponys, die Nähe zu verschiedenen Stränden, kleine Hafenstädte…einfach schön! Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr nett, auf jede Frage kam sofort Antwort. We hope to be back! »

« Our stay was flawless, conveniently located in the heart of the countryside. The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. « Our visit to this VRBO was like stepping back in time. It was located in the English countryside on a beautifully maintained farm dating back to the 1500's. Everywhere you looked, gave you a sense of peace. The landscape, grand arboretum, the flowers, the occasional sounds of sheep off in the distance was glorious. Our accommodations were in a converted onetime stable, the interior beautifully crafted, with all the amenities one would need. The proprietors were gracious, kind and accommodating....

« The property is huge, with 23 of us staying, there was ample room for us all to eat together, at in the living room and loads of bedrooms including an accessible ground floor bedroom which we needed. « We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. « Cannot fault this lovely property right on the banks of the river! We stayed a week at the Nest. It is more spacious than it appears.
