Bathrooms are dirty and have mold. Host is not responsive. I smelled a gas leak during my stay with my family. I contacted the host and she called me about 2 hours later. She told me that she needed to call and send the gas company over; she did not ask if I wanted to leave and expected me to meet with the gas inspector in the middle of the night. The gas company came past midnight and I was up walking around with the inspector and then airing out the house once the gas was turned off. I barely slept that night and had a lot of anxiety about the whole situation. I contacted the host twice asking for a refund and she ghosted me. She did not apologize for the inconvenience or thank me for taking care of her home. I expect a VRBO host to have more compassion and integrity. 0 stars. ##### Gina V. Plus, the appliances were straightforward- easy to operate. The house was clean, smells nice, is in good shape, the AC was on and kept the home comfortable for our return from sight seeing. The backyard was lovely! We grilled and ate out on the patio one night, had a fire and smores another night.There is a large, clean, safe grocery store less than 1/2 mile away. We were able to buy SmarTrip cards there to use the bus and subway. The bus stop was less than a 5 minute walk away. It was easy to navigate the transportation system. Accommodated 4 of us comfortably and was so comfortable, cozy, spotlessly clean, and quiet. Communication with host was fast and helpful. One of the best parts was enjoying morning coffee in the picturesque garden/ back patio. A wonderful quiet respite of a stay amongst the fun hustle and bustle of Arlington/DC. Perfect!
