« This cabin is in a beautiful location at the top of a hill. It’s best to give yourself a little time to get up the winding roads, especially if there’s fog. When we arrived, we were met by our host who is very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our conversation with him. He is a big LOTR fan so we had a fun time talking about filming locations and personal stories he had. « It is unique and in a nice setting. We stayed in mid winter and it had a damp smell. There were possoms and or rats in the ceiling. »

« It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, it faded away for me after a while, it wasn't overpowering or anything. »
