A noise monitoring device is in the living room to ensure quiet hours are respected; it only measures decibel levels and does not record audio or video. \- Island Living: Hawaii’s tropical climate means you may encounter local wildlife and insects like bugs, cockroaches, ants, and geckos. Keeping screen doors closed and the unit clean will help minimize their presence. Pest sightings are not grounds for refunds. \- Travel Disclosure: Travel to a remote island has inherent risks. The owner is not liable and will not issue refunds for disruptions beyond our control, such as flight changes, natural events (volcanoes, tsunamis), utility outages, or other emergencies. I enjoyed watching out the back from the deck or Lanai and listening to the bird life. One thing I did not like about the unit was that it had roaches and some of the beach items to use were broken.
