Conveniently located by a bus stop a short ride into town and a few minutes walk (down the main road) from a lovely beach taverna at Sklithri. The only downside to this glorious Skiathos retreat was the bit of noise from the road, but balanced out by the convenience for public transport. The villa was very clean and the facilities such as the air conditioning functioned really well. The road to the villa is uneven but if taken at slow speed is easily negotiable. WiFi was great, the kitchen had everything you need and bus stop 13 is at the end of the road so it is very easy to get into Skiathos town (only took approx. 15 minutes along the coast road) or if you go west to the other beaches then they are closer still and there are loads of excellent restaurants within an easy 5 minute drive. Kanapitsa beach is a joy too with a great bar & restaurant on the beach and it's only moments away (there's a great mini-market on the way there too). You do need a car though as the road to the villa once off the main road is steep."
