« This was a fun little cottage perfect for me and a friend to get away for a weekend. The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. »

« The cabine was in the perfect location as it was close to all of the places I needed to go while I stayed for the weekend. It was a little confusing finding the correct door to get into but that was a very minor issue and did not cause any problems once we figured it out. Still deserves 5 stars. It was clean, organized, labels on everything, information clearly available to know everything we needed for our stay. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the cabin as there was plenty to enjoy...

« We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. »

« The house was spacious and lovely, just as pictured online. There was ample room for our group of 26. The outdoors were also beautiful and inviting, as pictured. We had a pickleball tournament (organized and equipped by the kids), volleyball, hide-and-seek (always a favorite) and more. No WIFI or working TV kept the kids off-screen for a few days, but they hardly noticed! »
