  • Located in the beautiful town of Volcano, this studio is perfect for stays to visit Volcanoes National Park. Only 8 minutes from the park entrance, you can quickly beat the crowds when an eruption occurs. Located at 3,800 feet in elevation the cool days make adventuring easy, and the nights are great for star gazing.
    Inside, there is a queen bed and a couch that converts to a twin bed. The kitchen has everything necessary to make your own snacks or meals. The full bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for travelers who pack light. While a lot of people enjoy the sounds of coqui frogs at night, ear plugs are provided for those who don't find their songs charming.
    Outside is a small porch with chairs to enjoy fresh air and views of native plants and birds. The neighborhood is perfect for a safe walk or easy bike ride.
    Nearby, the town of Volcano has restaurants and farmers markets multiple times a week. There is a winery and golf course within a 10 minute drive.

The unit was clean and well equipped for us to relax, make many of our own meals, and get good nights sleep. We were worried about bugs when we saw many windows didn’t have screens, but that didn’t prove to be a problem. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
