This charming 4-bedroom, 2-full bath Beach Cottage is just steps from the beach! Enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the spacious screened-in front deck with extra seating. Fully equipped kitchen just off the cozy living area with bar top! Offers just the right amount of space for you and the family to unwind. The underdeck is spacious for entertaining or just relaxing after a fun day at the beach, with a gas grill, an outdoor shower, and plenty of parking space if needed. Don't forget your furry friend!

This newly renovated beach cottage features all new appliances, central air conditioning throughout, a new roof, two new couches in the living room, flat-screen TVs in all bedrooms and the living room, new LVP flooring, and horseshoe pits along with cornhole boards. If you're looking for a beach house with old-school charm, this is for you.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Shifting Sands just steps away from the Molly Cooper entrance to the beach. The property managers were responsive. The screened porch captured the ocean breezes. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor shower on the lower level was a bonus when returning from the beach with sandy grandchildren. We would gladly return to this cozy cottage.

I seriously loved this house so much that I want to buy it. The location is amazing; it felt like oceanfront. The interior had everything we needed for our family. I've been coming to Sandbridge for nearly thirty years. My regret is not finding this gem sooner. Well done!

Great Location

Great location, steps away from beach access. Good space for family & dogs. Seems like an effort is being made to update the property but there’s a lot to be done. Overall clean, but bathrooms need updating.

Disappointed

Property was dirty when we arrived. When brought up to the management company on day 1, it took 48 hours to get it cleaned. The cleaners remarked that it "looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while." Just imagine sand and dog hair on the floor when you walk into the house at check-in after encountering a welcome mat that had matted dog hair all over it from different dogs. I hope the owner wasn't paying cleaning fees for each renter all this time. For this, we were given a refund of an amount a little higher than their internal cleaning fee. Website advertised 3 King beds in the house. The beds are queen beds, not King beds. This is the biggest and most alarming problem we had with this stay. We received no refund for this issue. Simply put, we would not have stayed at this property at all if it was advertised accurately. We gave the mgmt company 2 weeks to make this right and after going back and forth (they prefer a text string as communication), we were told there was nothing else that could be done. This is the worst customer service for a beach house issue I've ever experienced. Owner deserves to have a new mgmt company. We had to ask for the code for the bottom door where the beach equipment and washer/dryer were. Nobody seemed to know it initially and ultimately someone found out the code - annoying. We were given a partially used roll of toilet paper on check-in. Gross. All blankets not on beds smelled like mold and we washed them twice.

Great Visit.

The property management company was very communicative and great. We reached out with 2 little issues and they we're on it within minutes. The house is nothing fancy but we didn't pay for fancy and we were thrilled to bring our dogs along this year. It could have been a little cleaner and a little less cluttered but it had everything we needed and the location was prime. It was obvious efforts were taken to spruce it up a bit and they were cute and appreciated. The beds are not King size as the listing stated. All and all our group had a great visit.

Great Location, not clean

The house is 'charming' or a bit on the old side but the location is great. There were a couple of issues that the rental company took car of quickly. Its a pet friendly rental and there were piles of fur under beds and sofa. Big, big piles!

Unclean, no Wifi and poorly maintained!!!

This property was so unclean that we had to clean all surfaces and bathrooms before unpacking. Piles of dog hair and peanuts were found in two of the bedrooms in the corners of the rooms and under the beds. The bathroom toilets needed to be cleaned before use. The screened in porch had no screen on the door and other areas of the screens were torn open. The carpets in one bathroom were so unclean we rolled them up and didn't use them. The door mat had small nails sticking up which could have cut someone barefooted so we removed that as well. We emailed about the Wifi and none of the four tech savvy adults were able to get the wifi to work. I would think VRBO would cancel this property for it did not meet minimal standards. I have a VRBO property and I would never allow such filth.

Great location, property needs work

The house was in a great location almost on the beach but the house is a bit run down. We had an electrical failure and the dishwasher died while we were there. The maintenance people were easy to contact and very quick to respond though. The house was not clean especially the dust everywhere.
