"This is a most impressive hotel with welcoming and professional staff, lovely rooms and a superb breakfast (it's a long time since I've had a fried egg in a hotel breakfast buffet). The room was spacious, comfortable and well soundproofed and also with very good blackout blinds. As mentioned, there is no car parking on site, but the municipal car park is a minute's walk away and is safe and inexpensive (there is also a shopping centre car park a five-minute walk away). We will certainly be back...

"Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel smack bang in the middle of Fussen Altstadt. Walkable from train station. Room was a delight, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony which was a bonus! No lifts so may require some climbing for higher floors. Hotel gave us a Fussen Pass which allowed free bus travel to Hohenschwangau and concessional tickets to the castles. Thank you for great memories of Fussen and Neuschwanstein!"

"Our stay at Hotel Sonne in Füssen was excellent, the hotel was really clean and nicely upgraded. Unique decor throughout, our room was a nice size with all the necessary amenities. "The hotel is old and not very friendly to Americans at least the day I was there. No place to eat, so they charge for dinner buffet and when asked if anything else around I was told by the staff that there is one but you need a reservation. They get you for it is in the middle of no where and we arrived late and did not want to drive 30 minutes for dinner when they were possibly closed. I would find something else if I had to do it again."
