A few planes flying overhead could be heard with windows & doors open but did not interfere with sleeping at all. A bakery & small grocery store were in the village which was close by & helpful. It was a bit of a drive to get into Paris with our rental car, but one day we drove to a Metro stop & took that into the city. We also traveled to the Normandy region from here which was a fairly easy drive to do. Oliver was great with responding to questions. Everything was at described.
