« Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

« The view was great and the grounds were fine. The cabin itself was very small though. We were in the "Firefly" cabin which says sleeps 4. I am glad we didn't have a 4th person. I don't know where they would have slept. One double bed in one bedroom and then 2 twins in another room - but one of the twin beds was oddly tucked under the other bed. Definitely not for 4 adults. Maybe one adult and 2 kids? If that. We enjoy cooking and spending time in the cabin itself when we are on vacation but that...

« Simply wonderful. The memories made here will last our family a lifetime. Everything you need all in one beautiful place. Very clean, had everything you need for a getaway plus included extras. Our kids loved the kayaks and the sandbar near the island gives a great place to enjoy the water. Fishing was great! Great communication with owner, they are very sweet and helpful. « I cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was immaculately clean and the items that were provided, which were a lot, were top notch. « Loved being on the lake! Family of ducks kept us entertained. Brand new dock right out our front door. Everything was clean. Very reasonable and comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating to our needs. This property is close to town, and not far from the waterpark and brewery/winery. A great time was had by all 4 generations! ❤️ »

« The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...

« The pool and hot tub were excellent. Beds were average to above average. King-size bed is really a Queen. Comfortably sleeps 10 upstairs and 11downstairs. Living room furniture is ready for replacement along with the patio chairs. It was fun being able to get 8 chairs around the table for food and games. Appliances, kitchen items and linens were perfect. Loved having a good washing machine and dryer. Overall, loved being there. Would love to stay there again sometime. »

« We (11 of us) had a great time at this property on Lake Darling. We caught sunfish off of the dock, the kids enjoyed playing in the water around the dock. We rented a pontoon from Lake Darling Resort, grilled, had a couple campfires. Weather was great as well. The only downsize is the busy road that the property is located on, could hear the traffic, but we spent all of our time on the lake side. »
