Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. "We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. "We spent 3 nights in a really large nice apartment suite with a balcony. We were next to the pool but it was quiet with a nice view of the lake and Monte Bre. The hotel overall is a bit tired and in need of fresh paint, but the grounds were very clean. We loved the pool for a cool break from the heat and crowds of Lugano. Its a trek to find restaurants, even with the bus stop. We found good dinners 12-15 minutes uphill or downhill and skipped dinner the last night. The staff were very friendly and attentive."
